Spanish for the Workplace: Customer Services and Professional Communication

Summary
In this course, students build beginning Spanish skills for use in customer service and professional workplace communication. Students practice greeting and assisting customers, answering common questions, scheduling appointments, giving directions, discussing prices and services, communicating with coworkers, and writing brief workplace messages. The course also introduces cultural awareness and respectful communication strategies for working with diverse Spanish-speaking communities. No previous Spanish Study is required.
This is an 8-week 100% online course, but students are required to meet online on Tuesdays evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
